Quentin Lloyd rowed superbly to win the novice river single scull race in a time of 19:54.
Later in the day, Lloyd competed in the coastal novice scull, taking second, just ten seconds behind the winner

Shanklin ladies novice coastal fours crew of Sophie Oatley, Emma Cox, Ella Payne and Emma Sturrock rowed a superb race to take second, in a time of 22 minutes.

Senior pair James Thompson and Paul Grattage narrowly missed out on a top three finish.
